Auntie, you were the best Aunt anyone could have prayed for and the one who influenced me the most spiritually in growing up. It was because of your guidance, Bible readings, prayers, fun Christian camps and love for the Lord that made me want to serve the Lord too.

You were always faithful to guide us and as little children in South Africa we can still remember your love when you came to stay with us for several years. We have your brilliant paintings to remember the South African years as well as your stories of your porcupine hunting, swimming with snakes and your wonderful laughter!

In England we can vividly remember you teaching us to pray and read the Bible up in the cute little attic bedroom at Granddad and Granny Belle’s bungalow. Our wonderful times on the beach there with the whole family at the beach hut.

Even as you got older you were still adventurous, going to Italy with Miri and then making your trip to visit us in America. Here we loved listening to more of your African ventures, your lone travels in remote and sometimes dangerous regions and of you reaching the people there with the Lords love.

You were still so enthusiastic and delighted with people and situations and we recall your joy when Kaden took you to Disney and you met your childhood characters of Micky and Minnie Mouse! To make it even more special it was their 90th year as well as your 90th year!

Thank you Auntie for always being there for all of us, in our lives with your steadfast faith and unconditional love. We miss you but know you are finally in Jesus’s loving arms with your family surrounding you. We love you Auntie Julie. Thank you for blessing our lives.
